A reading of Rutgers University Professor Golbarg's Bashi's controversial children's alphabet book, P Is for Palestine (which includes "I Is for Intifada"), took place on Sunday at New Jersey's Highland Park Public Library, despite rescheduling, potential legal action from the Zachor Legal Institute, and spirited protests.
The silver lining? It was attended by all of four adults and three children. Even better, they were all apparently members of the local Jewish community who, as one of them recalled, "planned to walk out in protest when she got to 'I is for Intifada,' but it was so painful sitting there listening to her, we walked out at E."
Better luck next time, professor.
