Gregg Roman

Executive Director

Gregg Roman is the executive director of the Middle East Forum. In 2014, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency named him one of the “ten most inspiring global Jewish leaders,” and he previously served as the political advisor to Israel’s deputy foreign minister and worked for the Israeli Ministry of Defense. A frequent speaker on Middle East affairs, Mr. Roman has testified before Congress and the Knesset and appears on international news channels such as Fox News, i24NEWS, Al Jazeera, BBC World News, and Israel’s Channels 12 and 13. He studied national security and political communications at American University and the Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya and has contributed to The Hill, Newsweek, the Los Angeles Times, the Miami Herald, and the Jerusalem Post.

The San Diego chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations is calling the shots in local government. On September 15, 2026, the San Diego City Council voted 8–0 to adopt CAIR’s working definition of “Islamophobia” and send it to every city department, including the police—without naming the group that wrote it. Federal prosecutors listed CAIR as an uncharged coconspirator in a Hamas-financing case. Moreover, the governors of Texas and Florida have designated CAIR a terrorist organization.

Two American weather satellites, Suomi NPP and NOAA-20, carry an instrument called VIIRS that passes over Arabia four times a day, twice around midday and twice in the wee hours, and record every patch of ground 375 meters on a side that is hotter than its surroundings.
