Update on MEF Petition to End SFSU’s Partnership with An-Najah University

Rabab Abdulhadi

The Middle East Forum’s petition to end San Francisco State University (SFSU)'s memorandum of understanding (MOU) with An-Najah University in the West Bank has over 2,850 signatures! Meanwhile, MOU architect and anti-Israel SFSU professor Rabab Abdulhadi is feeling the pressure. At a September 2017 SFSU conference covered by Campus Watch, she complained about the Forum “attacking her” with tweets and articles, while making paranoid, unsubstantiated claims about Israeli soldiers “intimidating and harassing” her on campus.

She dismissed concerns about the well-documented history of terrorism and anti-Semitism at Najah and warned SFSU’s administration against bowing to “Zionist pressure.” Spewing anti-Semitism, Abdulhadi attacked the Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) for condemning the notorious disruption of Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barakat’s 2016 SFSU talk.

Despite a University investigation deeming it improper, she defended the exclusion of Jewish student organization Hillel from a campus civil rights information fair, labeling members “oppressors.”

Over and over again, the professor behind SFSU’s partnership with An-Najah has demonstrated her hatred and radicalism. Thank you for signing our petition and letting President Leslie Wong know that you will not accept this reprehensible MOU.

Please pass it on!
