Students at John Moores University listened to a lecture by a professor dubbed “one of the 50 most influential academics in the world” by Time magazine.
Oxford University’s Professor Tariq Ramadan last night spoke on “Europe, Islam and Pluralism”.
Dr Frank McDonough of John Moores said: “It is important for the University to welcome high ranking academics whose expertise can greatly enhance the student experience.
