Juan Cole Blames NRA for San Bernardino Shooting, Calls for More Gun Control

Reacting to the San Bernardino massacre, Juan Cole of the University of Michigan blames the NRA and calls for tighter gun laws--before quoting the Qur’an’s admonition that “God will not change the condition of a people until they change it themselves.” We’ll know the Middle East studies establishment has accepted that challenge when its leaders stop obfuscating in the face of Islamist terror and finally call out jihadists when they act. As usual, we’re not holding our breath.
