Trojan Horse-linked school's ex-teacher wins fight for fresh disciplinary hearing Asif Khan, who now lives in Qatar, claimed he knew nothing about the disciplinary action
A teacher accused of trying to Islamise a Trojan Horse-linked Birmingham school will have his case reheard in a dramatic twist in the proceedings.
An eight-day disciplinary hearing against former Oldknow Academy acting principal Jahangir Akbar and Arabic teacher Asif Khan concluded last month.
Mr Khan failed to appear at the National College for Teaching & Leadership (NCTL) proceedings - despite the government body's claims that it had emailed and written to him to urge him to attend.
