Two former headteachers at Birmingham schools linked to the so-called Trojan Horse scandal backed pupils' being punished by being forced to stand and stare at bushes and found it "very funny", it was claimed.
Lindsey Clarke and Hardeep Saini would watch from an office as pupils at the former Park View Academy in Alum Rock were made to "stand facing shrubbery looking at a bush for a period of time," claimed the school's HR manager Gurpreet Ghillion.
Her claims came during a hearing of the National College for Teaching & Leadership where Ms Clarke and Mr Saini are among five senior leaders from the former Park View Educational Trust (PVET) who face disciplinary action.
