Excerpt:
Two Moroccan mothers filed a complaint with the Discrimination Hotline Amsterdam after their two children were denied candy from a resident on St. Maarten. The occupant did not give the kids candy because of their faith.
The children, ranging in ages between four and seven years old, were going door to door with their mothers in Amsterdam West. In the Admiraal de Ruijterweg the children rang a door bell of a resident who only gave candy to the Christian children, and skipped the two Moroccan children.
The mothers tried to talk to the woman, but she insisted Sint Maarten is a Christian holiday, and not intended for Muslims. The mothers even called the police.
