Chutzpah squared: Former Oxford Islamic studies professor Tariq Ramadan, out on bail after being charged with raping two women, showed up at a suburban Paris conference on sexual violence against women. A municipal authority said “his despicable provocations need to stop” and that he should “show a minimum decency by leaving those who are battling against gender-based violence alone.” Agreed, but since when has Tariq Ramadan, whose grandfather founded the Muslim Brotherhood, shown any decency?
