I am continually amazed at the audacity of Muqtedar Khan. He lives in the United States with all the privileges and freedoms that this nation affords, and yet criticizes its citizens and twists its Constitution to fit his opinions in his column, “A hurt for a hurt only increases anger,” (Sept. 8).
Christians and Muslims alike who live in countries governed by Muslims do not enjoy the freedom that he enjoys in America. I wonder why?
He is agonizing over the burning of the Quran, but I wonder how much he agonized over the American flags that have burned or effigies of our presidents, or even the World Trade Center and the American citizens who burned with it?
