Young Adult Division

The Middle East Forum's Young Adult Division (YAD) is a network of young professionals between the ages of 18 and 40 years old with an interest in the Middle East and related topics.

YAD was launched in 2016 with 50 members. Today, there are more than 200 members across 6 countries, affiliated with more than 35 organizations, including: Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting in America (CAMERA), The Daily Caller, The Foundation for Individual Rights in Education (FIRE), and Turning Point USA, to name a few.

YAD members receive:

  • Opportunities to network with other young professionals around the country
  • Invitations to monthly conference calls and webinars
  • Free subscriptions to MEF publications

2019 has many exciting things in store for YAD members, including:

  • Elections of regional YAD officers and a National Chair
  • Happy hours and networking events in Boston, Los Angeles, New York, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Houston, Chicago, Toronto, and London
  • Invitation to attend MEF's 25th anniversary gala alongside donors, grantees, journalists, activists and politicians
  • Invitation to a "YAD exclusive" trip to Europe and Israel
