Russia puts Obama Iran strategy in doubt

One of the core propositions of the Obama team's theory of Iran, is that Russia and China failed to cooperate with Bush on Iran sanctions, because that Administration mishandled the diplomacy. But a senior Russian diplomat said on Monday that Russia does not intend to toughen its policy toward Iran, now that Obama is in charge. If this remains the Russian position, it will put the Obama strategy of Bigger Carrots and Bigger Sticks in doubt.
