Puneet Talwar to head Iran, Iraq at NSC

Puneet Talwar now confirms that he is going to the NSC as senior director for Iran, Iraq, and the Gulf countries. Talwar, Biden's Mideast adviser in the Senate, has long been an advocate of engagement with Iran, as he laid out in Foreign Affairs in July 2001.
