Excerpt:
A hospital is investigating a father's claims that when his daughter turned blue a nurse told him to "leave control to Allah".
Sanam Murad, two, was being treated for respiratory problems at Queen's Hospital in Romford when her father said her condition so deteriorated that he threatened to call the police.
Murad Ali, 39, and his wife, Tamseel Fatimah, 38, both trained as doctors, but he said their pleas for more intensive treatment were dismissed for up to 12 hours. Sanam went by ambulance to the paediatric emergency department on 17 December.
