A St. Cloud City Council member's plan to temporarily stop refugees from resettling in St. Cloud is facing fierce opposition.
Jeff Johnson, who represents St. Cloud's Fourth Ward, submitted a draft resolution this week calling for a moratorium on refugee resettlement in St. Cloud. The resolution was emailed to City Council members on Tuesday, according to St. Cloud Mayor Dave Kleis.

UniteCloud is asking residents to attend Monday's City Council meeting to support refugees and all St. Cloud residents, according to UniteCloud organizer Natalie Ringsmuth.
