Adelaide Islamic College controversy worries deputy lord mayor Houssam Abiad
Adelaide's Islamic College controversy has been labelled as "embarrassing" by the city's deputy lord mayor who says his Muslim community needs to do better.
Adelaide City councillor Houssam Abiad urged the community to step up as the school faced allegations including financial mismanagement.
"I feel, to some degree, embarrassed. I mean we need to get our act together," he said.
