The Islamic Circle of North America, (ICNA) is yet another “moderate” Islamic group in America. In their introductory manual their stated goal is to “provide education training and development of Muslim youth to be Islamic workers for Iqamat-as-Deen in North America.” What is Iqamat-as-Deen you ask? It is defined by the ICNA as “establishment of Islam in its totality, so that he, "(Allah) may make it prevalent over all other religions in North America. Any number of ICNA recommended sources also promote violent Jihad in pursuit of its goals.
Various parts of Europe, France specifically, have legally prohibited newspapers and media outlets from identifying the orientation of individuals involved in organized violence and rioting. The French journalistic code word for violence perpetrated by Muslims is “youths”. Yup, could be anyone, as France is so well noted for their inherent violent tendencies!
Geert Wilders a member of the Dutch Parliament and an outspoken critic of open ended Muslim immigration and Shari’a in the Netherlands lives under a “death fatwa” and has been refused entry into England to speak at symposia. Wilder’s sin is that he insists European civilization is rooted in the values of Jerusalem, Athens, Rome and the Enlightenment and not in Mecca, Baghdad, Andalusia and al-Kuds, the bastard! Wilders was prosecuted by an Amsterdam Court for his statements about Islam; so much for free speech in the Netherlands. Hirsi Ali, a close friend of the murdered Theo Van Gogh, was forced to leave the Netherlands as she was also under a fatwa ordering her death for speaking out against violent Islam; she is a Muslim. She was relocated by the conservative, American Enterprise Institute.
Estimates by David Gaubatz author of “Muslim Mafia” based on his contention of direct surveillance say that 75% to 90% of all Sunni based mosques in America are using a manual that among other things contends; “The objective of Islamic Jihad is to put an end to the dominance of the un-Islamic systems of government and replace them with Islamic rule”. “Islam intends to bring about this revolution not in one country or in a few countries, but the entire world.”
Professor Christian Giordano at the University of Freiburg argues that Shari’a should be “partially” implemented in Switzerland.

Also in Britain, the IPT reports that; Hiz’b ut-Tahrir, a notorious Islamic extremist group that British Ministers promised to ban, but have not; regards “integration into British society as dangerous” and says that British Muslims should “fight assimilation” into British society.” Hiz’b wants to create a global Islamic caliphate. Hiz’b has also received ?113,411 in British government funding to establish a chain of Islamic schools in Britain.

A Jewish candidate for public office in the U.K. Elaina Cohen, was denied the right to run as she was, according to Labor Party councilor Mahmood Hussain, “too white and too Jewish.: The decision stood, she was not allowed to run.
The Canadian Islamic Congress supports the introduction of Shari’a into Canada’s legal system. Muslims represent 3% of the Canadian population. The CIC has been active in suing individuals who speak out against Shari’a, most notably author and commentator Mark Steyn charging him with “flagrant Islamophobia”. The suit after a long process, failed; Steyn refused to capitulate.
Also in Canada Khaled Mouammar sat for 11 years on Canada’s Immigration and Refugee Panel deciding who should or should not enter Canada as a legal immigrant or protected refugee. Mr. Mauammar wants Hamas and Hiz’bAllah removed from lists of terrorist organizations in Canada, to be replaced by the Israeli army. (National Post) Mr. Mouammar is also president of the Canadian Arab Federation. He considers Hamas and Hiz’bAllah to be “legitimate political parties” while accusing Israel of genocide.

Just one month after the Fort Hood murders, Dr. Louay Safi was invited to speak at Fort Hood. Dr Safi is a top official of the Islamic Society of North America, ISNA. ISNA was an un-indicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation trial with demonstrated links to the Muslim Brotherhood.

In 2007 a New York appeals court ruling on grounds of jurisdiction essentially enabled a British ruling against Dr. Rachel Ehrenfeld. Dr. Ehrenfeld’s book “Funding Evil: How Terrorism is Financed and How to Stop It” was the source of a law suit in Britain by Khalid bin Mahfouz, a major focus of the book. Mahfouz sued Ehrenfeld in Britain for libel under a Shari’a based definition of libel and sought to have the judgment empowered in the U.S as well. The New York Appeals court substantially allowed that interpretation on U.S. soil and essentially empowered the U.K. decision. Books in Britain critical of Islam are now automatically taken to court.
The Washington Times reports that the British government has cleared the way for Muslim men with more than one wife to claim welfare benefits for all of their partners. The qualifier is that the multiple marriages must have taken place in countries where polygamy is legal. Needless to say, “tourism” to those countries has jumped considerably.
July 24th 2009 Steve Emerson of IPT obtained a letter signed by seven House Democrats to Attorney General Holder on behalf of 9 radical Islamic front groups. Emerson, the leading expert on domestic terror and Islamism commented, contending that the House Members were essentially; “relaying the complaints of Islamist groups about law enforcement techniques in terrorist cases, including the use of informants.” Emerson continued “the Congressmen acted as virtual lobbyists for these militant groups, asking that Attorney General Holder stop employing tried and proven counter-terrorist techniques and also echoed information that was blatantly false claiming the FBI was engaged in racial profiling.” “The Congressmen asked that the Attorney General meet with these groups, which are derivatives of the Muslim Brotherhood.” Question for the Congresspersons, if nothing is going on, and we’re all “moderates” here what are they afraid of?
In January of 2009 Three American academics flew to Tehran to accept awards from Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Carl Ernst, a professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, was honored along with William Chittick, a scholar of Islamic mysticism and a professor at the State University of New York at Stony Brook, and Miriam Galston, a lawyer at George Washington University.
A Dallas Morning News article by terrorism expert Daveed Gartenstein-Ross following the 7/7 London suicide bombings, noted that the Muslim American Society (MAS) had published in their March 2002 edition of their American Muslim magazine a fatwa authorizing suicide bombings, and that their membership study curriculum features a number of Muslim Brotherhood works and well-known jihadist tracts advocating for terrorism and violence. The MAS has been a consistent target of “outreach” efforts by a variety of U.S. governmental agencies including the State Department.
The Archbishop of Canterbury, Rowan Williams, supports a proposal that Islamic Sharia law should co-exist with British common law. In a radio interview, Williams said that“integration of portions of Muslim law in Britain is “unavoidable.”

The focus of the training; “To What Extent is Radicalization a Concern in the U.S.? Take a wild guess what Mr. Esposito’s opinion is.
In March of 2009 (original reporting by Fayetteville Observer) North Carolina State Senator Larry Shaw was appointed to CAIR’s Board of Directors. No Islamic name here, good move. Senator Shaw was an invited guest to Saudi Arabia to participate in a Muslims-only conference on “Islam and its Enemies.” Wonder who the Great Satan in that conference might be? CAIR, by the way, believes that “the Quran should be the highest authority in America.” Just saying.
“Muslim Americans for Obama” a supportive web site, offered recommendations during the election campaign:
- A law against harassment of Muslim women wearing the Hijab at airports, DMVs and “other” public areas.
- A law allowing Muslim employees to take hours off work for Friday prayers.
- That Ramadan and the Festival of Sacrifice be recognized as Federal Holidays.
- Halal meals should be mandated in all federal buildings, public schools and colleges.
- That a Federal requirement be put in place to provide prayer areas in all public and private facilities.
- To organize and recognize a Muslim American committee to provide foreign policy guidance on all issues related to Muslim countries.
Some of these “recommendations” have been accepted in areas far and wide including: Nebraska, New Jersey, Harvard University, San Diego, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Dell, Tyson Foods, Whirlpool, Arizona, New York and the U.S. State Department. The Muslim Americans for Obama may understand better than most of us the potential impact of Federal money on public policy.
