Temple U. Prof Marc Lamont Hill to Headline Hamas-Linked AMP Fundraiser

Temple University professor Marc Lamont Hill will be the keynote speaker at a fundraising event for American Muslims for Palestine (AMP), whose leaders, according to a report released this month by the Israeli Ministry of Strategic Affairs, have been involved in providing funding to Hamas. The Foundation for Defense of Democracies’ Jonathan Schanzer testified as much before Congress in 2016, noting the links between BDS-promoting groups like AMP and Hamas funding.

AMP was founded by UC Berkeley lecturer Hatem Bazian, who, like Hill, is an anti-Israel activist in academic garb.

Hill will be speaking alongside several pro-Hamas figures, which, given his use of the terrorist group’s eliminationist slogan, “Palestine will be free from the river to the sea,” during a UN speech---for which CNN fired him---makes perfect sense.
