New Jersey Teacher Uses 9/11 to Teach About ‘Islamophobia’

A New Jersey middle school teacher used the 9/11 anniversary to subject students to a fictional story about a Muslim boy who is bullied because his name is “Osama,” while omitting any mention of terrorist mastermind Osama bin Laden or the jihadist ideology that inspired the attacks. According to a parent who complained, administrators claimed that “they were unaware the teacher was planning to do this and that it fell through the cracks.” That’s quite an oversight.
