In a post over at National Review’s The Corner, Jay Nordlinger takes note of a Tweetfrom Marc Lynch, director of George Washington University’s Institute for Middle East Studies, that was quoted in an excellent piece on the hypocrisy of “human rights” campaigners lamenting the Palestinian death toll in Gaza while ignoring the much larger body count in Syria. As Lynch put it, “It must be so awkward having to check whether the dead child is from Gaza or Syria before deciding whether to be morally outraged.”
