Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding senior fellow and Recep Tayyip Erdoğan official mouthpiece İbrahim Kalin has responded to President Trump’s sanctions threat by warning the US to “reconsider its approach and adopt a constructive position before inflicting further damage to its own interests and its alliance with Turkey.”
Perhaps Georgetown should encourage Kalin and his autocratic boss to free the pastor instead, not to mention the countless professors and teachers imprisoned in Turkey. Never mind the matter of “Muslim-Christian understanding” . . .
