AMCHA Study on BDS Faculty and Anti-Semitism Highlights Middle East Studies

Legal Insurrection contributor and Syracuse Univeristy professor Miriam Elman breaks down the Amcha Initiative’s new study on the impact, including anti-Semitism, of BDS faculty on U.S. campuses and finds that Middle East studies academics figure prominently. In fact, “Of nearly 1,000 faculty boycotters in the study, 70% were affiliated with ethnic, gender, or Middle East studies.”

Cinnamon Stillwell analyzes Middle East studies academia in West Coast colleges and universities for Campus Watch. A San Francisco Bay Area native and graduate of San Francisco State University, she is a columnist, blogger, and social media analyst.
