The media’s de facto water carrying for President Obama’s poor judge of character is wearing thin on the American people as demonstrated by his poll numbers. They excused Reverend Wright, forgot Ralia Odinga, ignored Bill Ayers, saw Rashid Khalidi hidden by the L.A. Times, gave Turbo Tax Tim Geithner a pass, were disturbed by Tom Daschle’s tax dodging, watched Nancy Killefer get swept out for tax problems and the latest is Van Jones getting caught as an organizer for a 9/11 Trutherevent.
Jones was just one of 30-plus “Czars.” How many “special advisers” does this President need? It seems he has little faith in his formerly euphoric Democratic Congress that he needs so many little strongmen around him. Some would argue that this is better than the previous administrations “go it alone” attitude but all of these advisers haven’t stopped an avalanche of job losses, the bloodiest year in Afghanistan or held the public confidence in any capacity.
The so-called resignation of Van Jones has opened a wound in the administrations machinations. It has shown that the collection of “advisers” around the President are really a collection of political hacks who specialize in hyper-leftist interpretations of their assigned duties. As the left has tried to make it appear that Glenn Beck singled out Van Jones, they have made the huge error of not checking out the other “Czars.” They also highlight Glenn Beck because they don’t want attention brought to Michael Savage, who described Van Jones from top to bottom the day he was appointed back in March. Beck seems the weaker opponent to them, but neither talk show host is a pushover.
A good suggestion would be for Congress to step in when the next Czar is disposed of and insist they not be replaced.
