The Iran War’s Impact on China and U.S. China Policy

Some in the foreign policy world have claimed that the U.S./Israel war with the Islamic Republic of Iran will benefit China and its broader standing in the region. So far, these predictions have not been realized. Rather, the war has presented complex economic and energy challenges for the PRC.
