The Trump Peace Plan and Progress in Gaza

Researcher and former military officer Andrew Fox will assess the latest developments surrounding President Trump’s peace plan and the situation in Gaza. What does the plan propose? How are regional leaders responding? Is there a realistic path toward de-escalation and disarmament? Fox will examine the diplomatic strategy and what the next phase could mean for the United States, Israel, and the broader Middle East.

Andrew Fox, LLB (Hons), MA, MSc, FHEA, FRSA, is a frontline conflict researcher and senior fellow at the Henry Jackson Society. He served for sixteen years in the British Army and deployed on three tours of Afghanistan, reaching the rank of major. Fox has visited the Gaza area on multiple occasions during the past two years of war. His master’s degrees focused on Middle East strategy after 2003 and the psychology of disinformation. His ongoing PhD research examines lessons from Israel and Ukraine for the future of warfare. Fox received his LLB from Cardiff University, his MA from the University of Buckingham, and his MSc from the Open University, and he is currently completing his PhD at the University of Buckingham.
