“Is Middle East Peace Possible?” with Aryeh Green

For decades, policymakers, diplomats, and commentators have searched for a path to peace in the Middle East. But what if we’ve misunderstood the conflict all along? In this thought-provoking episode, we sit down with author, entrepreneur, and Israel advocate Aryeh Green to discuss his new book, Finding Peace in the Promised Land: A Transformative Approach to the Arab-Israeli Conflict. Drawing on years of experience working with Israeli and regional leaders, Green challenges many of the conventional assumptions surrounding the Arab-Israeli conflict and offers a new framework for understanding what has prevented peace, and what could finally make it possible.

Aryeh Green is an author, business strategist, and Middle East policy expert with more than four decades of experience in public affairs, diplomacy, and international business. He serves as chief strategy officer of Gigawatt Global, a renewable energy company developing projects across Africa. Green previously advised Natan Sharansky and cofounded MediaCentral, a leading resource for international journalists covering Israel. He holds degrees from the University of California, Berkeley; the Hebrew University of Jerusalem; and Boston University and Ben-Gurion University. A longtime resident of Israel, he is active in promoting regional cooperation, democracy, and public diplomacy.
