John Jamason: Palm Beach County public information officer won’t be disciplined after Islam post

The administrator for Palm Beach County said there will be no disciplinary action taken against a county worker who posted hateful comments about Islam.

County public information officer John Jamason sparked outrage last week on 9/11.

He posted on his personal Facebook page that “all Islam is radical...The Quran is a book that preaches hate”.

The county administrator said Jamason’s comments were personal and not made during work, so his statements did not violate rules.
