Excerpt:

One of the founders of the Islam party, Redouane Ahrouch, was dismissed on Wednesday morning by STIB.

The information was indicated by the spokeswoman of the Brussels public transport company, Françoise Ledune, confirming information broadcast on RTBF.

At the beginning of April, Redouane Ahrouch, a municipal councillor in Anderlecht and a STIB bus driver, had unveiled the party’s programme which recommended the establishment of Islamic state in Belgium, as well as the instigation of sharia law (the Islamic law). He, in particular, indicated that he favoured the segregation of men and women when on public transport.
