A prominent Perth surgeon has refused to comment on his strong links to an anti-Islamic political party to be launched in Perth this week by Dutch MP Geert Wilders.

Orthopedic surgeon Anthony Robinson and his wife Deborah are two of five directors of Australian Liberty Alliance Ltd — the company behind a "new political movement" formed to "stop the Islamisation of Australia".

The ALA party will be launched on Tuesday, with no media allowed, but Mr Wilders and the ALA candidates for the 2016 Federal election will front a press conference the next day.
