An Irish Muslim once arrested for allegedly threatening to kill Barack Obama says the Boston bombers gave Americans "a taste of their own medicine".

Dubliner Khalid Kelly, 46, refused to condemn Chechen terror brothers Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.

Three people, including an eight-year-old boy, were killed and more than 260 wounded when two devices exploded at the Boston Marathon on April 15. Tamerlan, 26, was later killed during a shootout with cops while Dzhokhar, 19, is in custody.
