All four halal restaurants has recently closed in Moscow, only halal cafe work in the capital.
The Sharm-el-Sheikh and Kyoto restaurants told Islam.ru website that they decided to close as there were few visitors and monthly earnings did not compensate the rent. The Taj-Mahal and Olymp restaurants change their location. The place and the time when their work will be resumed are not known.
The edition explains the situation that the social and economic level of Muslims in the capital does not let them come to the halal establishments of the high level.
Meanwhile, representatives of the Mufti Council say that there are about one-two million Muslims in Moscow.
