Hearing: Children told to chant: 'Do we send Christmas cards? No!' and 'Do we celebrate Christmas? No!' Pupils were led in anti-Christmas shouting in assemblies which were like 'rallies'
Pupils at Oldknow Academy, a school implicated in the Trojan horse scandal, were led in anti-Christian chants in assemblies, it has been alleged.
Former deputy head Jahangir Akbar, allegedly led pupils shouting: "We don't believe in Christmas, do we?" and "Jesus wasn't born in Bethlehem, was he?", a tribunal was told.
In these assemblies Mr Akbar who became acting head of the academy in January 2014 after its successful secular head teacher, Bhupinder Kondal left, also allegedly talked about "hellfire" and "prostitutes".
