Trojan Horse: Police to investigate if any crimes have been committed CID to look at new evidence gathered by author of Government report into crisis at Birmingham schools
Police have begun an investigation into the Trojan Horse scandal after receiving potential new evidence from former anti-terrorism chief Peter Clarke.
Mr Clarke delivered a Government-ordered report last week which concluded there had been attempts by hardline Muslims to gain control of governing bodies at some Birmingham schools.
The findings followed earlier damning reports by the city council and Ofsted, with the education watchdog putting five schools into special measures.
