Inspectors have now been sent into 15 schools as part of an investigation into an alleged plot by hardline Muslims to force out uncooperative headteachers and governors.
Ofsted has been sent in to the schools, all of which are in Birmingham, to investigate allegations of extremism and radicalism which first came to light after an anonymous letter, which apparently set out a blueprint for seizing control of governing bodies, was leaked.
The document, which is unsigned and undated but which was sent to the Birmingham Mail, city council and teaching unions, claimed to have caused "a great amount of organised disruption" in the city crediting the plan with forcing a change of leadership at four schools.
