Loutit District Library has received a $500 grant from the Michigan Humanities Council to bring two portable displays on Islam and Muslims in America from the Arab-American Museum to the Grand Haven library this month.
These displays will coordinate with three programs on Islam and Muslims in America taking place on Tuesdays in November. The programs are being presented in conjunction with the Bridging Cultures: Muslim Journeys grant of print and audio-visual materials the library received earlier this year.
These programs are free to the public beginning at 7 p.m. in the library's Program Room A.
