Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson Township, N.J., for example, hosts an annual "Great Muslim Adventure Day" that some say is the largest gathering of Muslims in the Northeast.
The park lets women wear the hijab on all rides. Women are only asked to tightly fasten their hijab before getting on the Kingda Ka, the tallest roller coaster in the world, spokeswoman Kristin Siebeneicher said.
"We have had a Muslim day for many years and have not had any issues," she said.
