A charity is launching a campaign to recruit more Muslims to lead scouting packs across London.
Mosaic, formed to encourage young Muslims to engage with society, is hoping to address the lack of adult volunteers to help scout packs.
There is currently a waiting list of 33,500 youngsters unable to become scouts because of the shortfall.
Moadh Kheriji, chairman of the Muslim Scouts Fellowship, said it would help with the "urgent need".
