Gary C. Gambill works collaboratively with staff and fellows to develop and optimize the Forum’s published content. Formerly editor of Middle East Intelligence Bulletin (1999-2004) and Mideast Monitor (2006-09), he served as web editor and research fellow at the Forum from 2014 to 2018. Mr. Gambill has written extensively on politics in the Arab world, particularly Syria and Lebanon. He has a B.S. in mathematics from the University of Wisconsin and an M.A. in Arab studies from Georgetown University. He has been a frequent contributor to Foreign Policy, the National Interest, the Jerusalem Post, and the National Post.
