Obama Bullies Israel Over Building of More Settlements [incl. Rashid Khalidi]

America’s horrible commander-in-chief bullies Israel for building more settlements.

America’s worse President since the days of Jimmy Carter President Obama, who stated that we [America] should not meddle in Iran when pro-democracy heroes rose up to free their country from their Islamo-fascist regime, is doing some more “meddling” in Israel against Ma’ale Adumim, the new Jewish community in the West Bank that the Israeli government approved. The Obama Administration bullied Israel some more for approving the building of that community in Judea and Samaria [now known as the West Bank].

Even left-leaning “dovish” Israelis who are generally critical of Israeli settlers and progressive left-leaning elements of the pro-Israel lobby are critical of Obama’s intense bullying of Israel over thesettlements, as seenhere. Now, the amount of Israelis who believe that his foreign policy is pro-Israel is 4%. 51% of Israelis believe that his foreign policy is pro-Arab. 60% of Israelis don’t even trust Obama.

Even the moderate left in Israel, which is critical of Israeli settlements and which are more willing to make risky territorial concessions to the Palestinians in the hope of having peace, are alienated by Obama’s policy towards Israel. In fact, even Jews and/or pro-Israel activists who voted for Obama [as seen from the first hyperlink] such asAlan Dershowitz are critics of his bullying policy toward Israel. Obama only spoke out against the Iranian regime’s crackdown of the pro-democracy demonstrations in Iran days after the start of the demonstrations and because of the pressure he got. He was quiet as a mouse because he wanted to continue the failed diplomatic policies with the Iranian regime on their genocidal nuclear weapons program, which is there to give the Iranian regime nuclear weapons to be used in the global jihad against infidels.

Though Obama does call on Arab leaders to end its incitement toward Israel [as well as travel restrictions for Israelis], he is more focused on his bullying posture on the Israeli settlements, a posture that even alienates the “moderates” in Israel and the progressive element of the pro-Israel community. Obama is essentially alienating Israel, one of America’s most important allies, while he seeks to appease America’s totalitarian enemies like Iran, Syria, Cuba and Venezuela. Bill Clinton and George W. Bush, during their presidencies, weren’t nearly as obsessed on the settlements as Obama. Both of them focused on the future boundaries of the Palestinian state that was going to be created in the hope of achieving peace. Bush acknowledged the “realities on the ground” regarding the Israeli settlements and stated in his letter to then-Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon that “It is unrealistic to expect that the outcome of final-status negotiations will be a full and complete return to the armistice lines of 1949.”

Obama’s Foreign policy is the basic liberal leftist foreign policy that is flawed in so many ways. It bolsters America’s totalitarian enemies at the expense of America’s valuable allies [including Israel] and the pro-democracy activists who seek to free their countries from America’s totalitarian enemies. For decades, Obama was indoctrinated by Jeremiah Wright, who, when he was Obama’s pastor, published the Hamas charter in the church newsletter and compared it with America’s declaration of Independence.

Wright, in his famous anti-American garbage rant that could’ve cost Obama his chances to be elected and where he said,"God d**m America”, stated that America supports terrorism toward the Palestinians, making a reference to America’s support toward Israel. There is no truth in that statement. America supports a state that is defending itself from Palestinian terrorism and is a major proponent of a Palestinian state in exchange for peace. As David Meir Levi stated[before Obama was elected],"If their right to national self-determination and getting their own state were indeed what the Palestinians’ leadership wanted, that leadership would see the U.S. as an ally”. More recently, around the time of the vicious attack against the Holocaust museum by an anti-Semitic fanatic, Jeremiah Wright stated,"Them Jews won’t let Obama talk to me”.

Obama also linked up with radical Palestinian proponents of the one state solution like with Edward Said and Rashid Khalidi, both of whom were former PLO terrorists and the former of whom Alan Dershowitz compares to Rabbi Meir Kahane in his book The Case for Peace. Said said the following about Amin al-Husseini, the notorious Arab leader in Palestine who collaborated with Hitler and who said to “kill the Jews wherever you find them":

Hajj Amin al-Husayni represented the Palestinian Arab national consensus, had the backing of the Palestinian political parties that functioned in Palestine, and was recognized in some form by Arab governments as the voice of the Palestinian people.

Said also said,"I don’t myself believe in a two-state solution. I believe in a one-state solution.” Khalidi called the two-state solution “a prescription first for civil war … and then for unending conflict” and expressed support for the one-state solution. The LA Times reported the following:

His many talks with the Khalidis, Obama said, had been “consistent reminders to me of my own blind spots and my own biases. . . . It’s for that reason that I’m hoping that, for many years to come, we continue that conversation — a conversation that is necessary not just around Mona and Rashid’s dinner table,” but around “this entire world.”

Of course, the LA Times didn’t release the video tape or give a transcript on what Obama said at that pro-terrorist event. Obama allied himself with anti-Semites and radical Palestinians. Now, he’s alienating even the moderate left in Israel, which is critical of the Israeli settlements and which is more willing to make risky territorial concessions to the Palestinians in the hope of achieving peace, no matter how baseless that hope is. He is also alienating the progressive element of the pro-Israel community, at least much of which voted for him in the 2008 Presidential election.

Obama’s obsession over the settlements also bolsters the Palestinian Authority, which is yet to follow a single commitment for peace from the Oslo accords and from the roadmap peace plan, and which promotes hatred toward America, as groups like Palestinian Media Watch shows and which cuddles up with America’s totalitarian enemies [one place to notice that ishere].

Obama, while cuddling up with the PA [Mahmoud Abbas, the PA President, is even the first foreign leader who Obama spoke with since becoming president]. That’s right. The same Mahmoud Abbas, who is yet to follow on a single commitment, is the first leader Obama meets since becoming President. An aide for Abbas revealed that, according to the London Times. Obama takes America’s cuddling up with Mahmoud Abbas to a whole new level, even becoming worse than Bush. Obama should stop bullying Israel over the settlements, which is a right Israel has to build and which is not a violation of international law. It’s not fair to view the settlements as a monolith. When one settler attacks a Palestinian or says some extremist statement, then all the settlers are unfairly lumped into the category of that one settler. Why should Jews be forbidden from settling in the West Bank, which has a historical Jewish presence, and from parts of Jerusalem, which is the center of Jewish history while Arabs are citizens of Israel who have equal rights? Arab-Israelis have a right to remain in Israel. They have equal rights with the Jewish majority and are nowhere near to being endangered of losing their rights. Obama seeks to bar Jews from living in Judea, Samaria and parts Jerusalem, which si the center of Jewish history and the first holy city for Jews. During the diaspora, every year, Jews said in their prayers,"Next year in Jerusalem”. Imagine if someone decided to ban Muslims from settling in parts of Mecca and decided to call any Muslim who settlers in those parts “illegal settlers”. Since Obama is sympathetic to the Islamic world, someone should really tell him that. I am a critic of the radical elements of the Israeli settlement movement and oppose the radical settlers belief that Palestinians have no right to live in what is designated as the promised land. It’s unfair to say that those radical settlers represent all of the settlers. There are settlers who would be happy to live in a Palestinian state and who are willing to even leave if there would be peace.

Until the 19th century, east Jerusalem [that is the Old City] was all of Jerusalem. It just expanded until the 19th century. That means that the Jewish holy sites such as the Wailing wall is in east Jerusalem, which people like Obama view as “occupied” and which people like him want to persona non-granta to Jews. Again, imagine if people call for half of Mecca including the Kaaba to be barred for any Muslim to settle in. That would spark outrage and rightly so. It would even spark outrage from Obama.

Obama’s policy toward Israel like his obsession of the settlements stink. Israel has been one of America’s greatest allies in history, both in the Cold War and in the current war on radical Islam. Now, Obama, who leads the free world, is alienating Israel with his idiotic liberal leftist policies that are not based on fact, but based on leftist and anti-Israel lies.

Obama’s call for the Arab states and Palestinian Authority [PA] to end incitement against Israel is worthy of some praise. However, as I said, he is not nearly as focused when it comes to the incitement as he is when it comes to the settlements, like when it comes to even the building of a bathroom in one of the settlements. So Obama’s call to end incitement can be an acknowledgement of the fact that even the god of the liberal left acknowledges that it is a problem.

This just goes to show the inanity of Obama’s policy toward Israel, which would alienate one of America’s most valuable allies.
