Muqtedar Khan Left Out Crucial Part of Ramadan Custom

In his recent piece on Ramadan, Muqtedar Khan omitted the worldwide practice of feasting, socializing and general partying from sundown till dawn that goes on during Ramadan.

In most major Islamic cities after sundown you would think you were at a state fair rather than celebrating the holy season of Ramadan.

Muqtedar also follows the half-truth practice in attempting to convince the naive that Islam is just another religion. The Islamic code covers worship and dealings. Worship is always discussed as it is the part of Islam similar to other religions. Dealings, which are never mentioned by Islamists such as Muqtedar, cover a Muslim’s life, which in western countries are covered by state and federal laws.

Dealings cover the family, marriage, inheritance, monetary affairs, relations with fellow Muslims and government, relations with non-Muslims as individuals and nations. It includes penalties to be inflicted, through the Mosque, for offenses and irregularities.

Islam is not just another religion. Its goal is to replace the “laws of the land” with the Islamic code.
