Moosa Cited on List of Influential Muslims

Scholar honored for his research on Islamic knowledge and culture

Duke Islamic studies professor Ebrahim Moosa is among the 500 most influential Muslims, according to a new report published by the Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Center for Muslim-Christian Understanding at Georgetown University and The Royal Islamic Strategic Studies Center.

Moosa is included in the “scholarly” category, among a group of “scholars, thinkers, and educators who are well respected leaders who have made significant contributions to the study and cultivation of Islamic knowledge and Muslim culture.”
