Did Edward Said’s ‘Orientalism’ Lead To ‘Cultural Appropriation’?

Middle East Institute affiliate and Yale University sociology fellow Adam Valen Levinson is the latest victim of the anti-intellectual hysteria over “cultural appropriation,” which Jonathan Kay, the author of this essay, traces back to Edward Said’s “Orientalism.”
