Character, Honor Are Not Valued [Letter to the Editor; incl. Rashid Khalidi]

We had one of the most patriotic and honorable candidates running for president in John McCain. However, the majority of our voters decided that honesty, character, and experience was not a requirement for this office.

Most of the media were campaign headquarters for Obama. The media attacked McCain as if he had the plague. They attacked Sarah Palin like a pack of wolves. They never critized Obama for anything, especially his association with well known terriorists Bill Ayers and Rashid Khalidi.

Ayers bombed seven buildings and wrote two books. One book was dedicated to Sirhan Sirhan who killed Robert F. Kennedy and the other was dedicated to cop killers.

Khalidi wasthe radical mouthpiece for the PLO. Ayers started Obama’s career in his living room in 1995. Obama praised both men in a 2000 fundraiser. If McCain had had friends like this, the media would have nailed him to the cross.

Obama could not have even gotten a job with the FBI or as a White House staffer because he could not pass security clearance because of his association with these thugs.

There was an article in an Israeli newspaper stating they could not believe the U.S. would even allow Obama to run for president.

What does it tell us when Fidel Castro, Hugo Chavez, and other Communist leaders endorse Obama? All the countries that hate us applauded the election of Obama.

I love my country as much as anyone, but I have no respect for Obamaand I will never consider him my president.

Yes, history has been made and change will come in the form of radicalism and socialism.
