Binghamton Professor Laid to Rest a Week After Stabbing [on Richard Antoun]

A Binghamton University anthropology professor who was stabbed to death in his office a week ago was eulogized at an overflowing church on Friday.

Hundreds of people gathered to pay their respects to Richard Antoun at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Binghamton. They said he was a good and precious man who never had a negative word to say about anyone. His son said Antoun used sports to teach him life lessons about loyalty and being open-minded.

Police say he was killed by 46-year-old grad student Abdulsalam Al-Zahrani.
