MESA Up in Arms Over Trump’s Executive Order on Immigration

The Middle East Studies Association (MESA) has drafted a memo in opposition to President Trump’s executive order on immigration. MESA is up in arms over the “challenges and burdens” members could face, particularly the “violent ideologies” provision, which, it warns, could lead to “misinformed understandings of the Islamic faith.”
