Pupils at a Birmingham school at the heart of the Trojan Horse scandal were shown pictures of a white person to teach them "what a Christian looks like", it has been claimed.
A teacher at the former Oldknow Academy in Small Heath revealed she was shocked to find "inaccuracies" in work set under the school's religious education curriculum when she joined the academy in September 2012.
Giving evidence at a National College for Teaching & Leadership (NCTL) hearing, where Oldknow's former acting principal Jahangir Akbar and teacher Asif Khan face allegations of professional misconduct, said she noticed the non-faith school had "an Islamic culture".
