San Francisco State University Hosting Online Event With Palestinian Terrorist Leila Khaled

Arab and Muslim Ethnicities and Diasporas (AMED) Studies at San Francisco State University is hosting a Zoom discussion on Wednesday, September 23, featuring notorious palestinian terrorist Leila Khaled – referred to as a “militant.” (hat tip: Avraham)

Khaled was arrested in 1970 by Israeli sky marshals while carrying two grenades in an attempt to hijack an El Al flight from Amsterdam with a partner, whom the security officers killed. British authorities released her in exchange for hostages from another hijacking a month after her arrest. She had already hijacked an American passenger plane in 1969, landing it in Damascus.

And an unrepentant one at that

Leila Khaled, became a symbol of the terrorist organizations for its involvement in aircraft hijackings during in 1969 and 1970. Khaled, has been active for over 50 years in the Popular Front for Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), which is designated as a terror organization by the US, EU, Canada, Israel, Australia and others. Last October, she stated in an interview that “Palestine will be liberated by resistance in all forms, primarily via ‘armed struggle’”, indicating that she still considers terrorism against Israeli civilians to be a legitimate means of pressure.

If you look carefully, the promotional poster even features her rifle! (based on this photo)

While this is not entirely surprising, given the shenanigans we have seen at US universities for quite a while now, it is still unacceptable.
