In conjunction with this week’s University of California regents meeting, in which anti-Semitism was the issue discussed, I am cross-posting a piece by Asaf Romirowsky of Scholars for Peace in the Middle East and Efraim Karsh, of Bar Ilan University, which describes how Middle East studies departments are devoted to little more than the destruction of the Jewish state of Israel.

It is hardly surprising that MESA would endorse BDS and oppose the University of California’s adopting the State Department definition of anti-Semitism. I don’t care how many Jewish collaborators they can list among their supporters- and they have plenty. They are merely representing the desires of the Palestinians and the rest of the Arab world. They will not tolerate a Jewish state in their region.
And that is anti-Semitic.
