Canadian Faculty Group Questions Instructor’s Dismissal [on Hassan Diab]

The Canadian Association of University Teachers is questioning why Carleton University, in Ottawa, dismissed Hassan Diab from a summer teaching assignment in sociology following news reports that Diab is teaching while facing extradition to France, where he faces charges in connection with a deadly 1980 bombing of a French synagogue.
