Blair On Cartoons: ‘The Right Decision’

“Yale made the right decision” in excising inflammatory cartoons of Muhammad from a Yale University Press book, Tony Blair says.

Speaking at a press conference on campus, the former British prime minister echoed the university’s position on Jytte Klausen’s The Cartoons that Shook the World. “This is not original research that was being suppressed,” he said. “The question is, does it reignite a conflict? It was an entirely responsible and sensible thing to do.”
